Commitments and voting
Shareholder engagement aligned with our philosophy
Use of voting rights
We seek to safeguard the interests of minority shareholders over the long term and thus prevent any voting practices that benefit a main or majority shareholder, company directors or any other stakeholder to the detriment of a minority shareholder.
We believe that shareholder engagement should not be synonymous with activism but should instead be reflected in a proactive approach towards certain companies to encourage them to improve their ESG practices.
Through ongoing dialogue with company management teams and our voting policy, we may be led to influence the company’s behaviour in terms of governance as well as social and environmental issues.
